Weleda White Mallow Body Lotion

Weleda White Mallow Body LotionFor a few months I’ve been on the hunt for a really decent all natural body moisturiser.

I got off to a good start with Organic Surge Sweet Blossom Body Cream. It smells fabulous, a bit like sherbet, and has a rich texture that sinks in easily. I moved on to Avalon Organics Lavender Hand and Body Lotion which I was totally underwhelmed by; it’s a bit watery and isn’t particularly nourishing (although I did like the pump bottle). And then I stumbled across the game changer: Weleda’s White Mallow Body Lotion.

Part of their baby range, it’s designed for hyper sensitive and dry skin prone to irritation. The key ingredients are white mallow and pansy to soothe alongside coconut and sesame oil to moisturise. The body lotion consistency means it’s applied in a flash yet it’s deeply nourishing; within two weeks of using it my skin had never felt softer. And as it’s for sensitive skin it is fragrance free, so it would be perfect for babies, allergy sufferers or as an after-sun.

I also noticed squalane lurking in the ingredients list. Squalane naturally occurs in our sebum but levels start to decline in our mid 20s. *Sob*. It’s meant to improve skin elasticity as well as being smoothing and moisturising and has also shown to be beneficial in treating eczema and acne.

Would love to hear if this range has helped anyone with skin complaints. I reckon it’s the business.
